"Written and recorded over the course of our first year at uni, which was also my first time living away from home - this is a project about change, about finding what's left of yourself when taken out of your normal, familiar surroundings and shoved into whole new ones.

I wanted the EP to represent the two sides of that experience - being homesick and lonely and unsure of yourself while at the same time doing all of these new things and meeting all these new people and just being fucking exhilarated. I think that balance, or contrast, is also mirrored in the way me and Sadie share space on these songs and interpret the ideas and sounds in Kodu's production in our own two ways." -Gabriel
